Even if Word 2007 has more comparable abilities to display HTML formatted information, you can be sure you're in for a fun time trying to re-do those HTML guidelines...

Ouch. I'm very glad I don't have to do any of that!

We send out HTML newsletters where I currently work and it is already a bit of a nightmare to check between different email clients.

We've got a document of guidelines to writing HTML that will display similarly in all email clients. You're right it's full of using outdated practices such as inline styling and vendor specific attributes!

I have no idea what we're going to do about Outlook 2007 - it's probably our biggest email client for customers.
