Nice list Joe, I work for a company dealing with search engine optimisation called Creare Communications and can tell you that those items on your list are dead on mate.

I always say that if you have trouble with website optimisation or marketing, get someone else to do it lol - here at Creare we work to the clients budget and offer the optimisation as part of their website designs so it comes as a package, keep on it mate because optimisation is very, very important for a business to succeed and your on the right lines.

This is a great list — though I’m primarily concerned with security, it is very easy to forget these essentials if you have to delve deep into securing databases. The front-end matters just as much! I’m going to print this out and tack it to my wall.
