Posting to Blogger: Editing Posts

Sometimes, after publishing your document, you'll notice a typo or mistake - or just realize that something you've written may just not be something you want preserved for posterity on your blog. Follow these directions to navigate towards the editing interface. The editing screen itself is identical to the posting screen - so you can simply follow the new post guide to use that interface.

Settings
Change Blog Settings Interface.
Template
View and Edit Blog Template (Requires extensive knowledge of XHTML)
View Blog
Shortcut to view your blog.
Create New Post
Navigate to Create New Post tab. [Link to Guide to Posting]
Moderate Comments
If you have elected to moderate your comments, this tab will give you access to approve or reject comments on your blog.
Status
The publication status of your blog. Provides the option to publish or republish your blog with current changes.
Create New Post
Alternate path to creating a new post.
Select Tools
By default, Blogger displays only your most recent 5 posts in your Edit Post hsitory. These tools can be used to select or search for additional posts to edit.
Date
The date this post was originally posted. This date will not change as a result of editing the post unless you elect to change it. (See the Creating New Posts page for that information.)
Edit Post
Clicking here will take you to the post editing window. This window is identical to the Create Post window except that the content and title of your post will be displayed for editing.
Post Title
The title of the post will be displayed here, unless you did not title your post. In this case, the first few words of the post will be displayed.
View Post
Shortcut to see the content of the post.
Delete Post
Option to delete the post entirely. Clicking here will give you a confirmation screen to verify that you wish to delete the post.
