One of the most common uses of a blog is to give easy access to your digital images - these instructions on uploading images to Blogger should aid you in this easy task.
- Add another Image
- This options adds an additional form input for so that you can add more than one image at a time.
- Browse
- If you wish to upload an image from your computer, click here. This will provide a standard dialogue to navigate your files and select the image you wish to include.
- Add URL
- If you're adding an image which is already online, you can simply type in the appropriate URL. You should keep intellectual property rights in mind - don't link to images that you do not own without requesting permission.
- Choose Layout
- Select where in the page you would like the image to appear. The graphical illustrations will show you fairly accurately what you will see. The choice NONE may vary depending on your particular Blog design.
- Image Size
- Specify your image size. These tool is very poorly described in the documentation, but I would recommend that small images are under 8k or 150 pixels by 150 pixels, medium are up to 20k and 300 by 300, and large are up to 100k and 800 by 600. I do not recommend posting images larger than this.
- Use Layout Again
- Not a very useful feature. You can generally ignore it, since it will not actually change anything about the form except that whatever you have chosen will be pre-selected next time you post an image.
- Upload Image
- Perform the upload requested.
- Cancel
- Cancels the uploading process.
