Hosting Your Website
For any web site, you're going to need a domain name and web hosting. Your hosting service is what provides the computer storage space where your site's files, scripts, and images are made available to the world, accessible through your domain name. ("joedolson.com" is my domain name, for an example.) It's critical that your hosting service is conscientious about security, has excellent customer service policies, and provides the support your site will need to continue running. Although not every web site owner needs to know all the details on how their web hosting operates, it's useful to have a sense of scale to understand what is available to you. Although I'm willing and able to work with almost any preexisting hosting arrangements you have made, I'm more than happy to assist you in changing your web site host.
I do not manage web hosting personally; instead, I am a reseller of hosting services from ICDSoft.com, an international hosting provider.
