Search Engine Marketing is, fundamentally, a misnomer. Although the term is popular and well-known it’s not exactly accurate. Internet marketing, as Dave puts very well in his new article, only produces good search engine placement as a by-product. The core of internet marketing is to build a better site and make certain people know about it! Much of what goes on in traditional marketing remains unchanged when you move online.
Dave Child’s blog is one I have read for a long time – not only because he has an exceptional breadth of knowledge, but because he has a writing style and ability to convey complex ideas which I find to be exceptional.
